GPT-4o-mini for AI Agents

Update: since the creation of this post we've also added Llama Guard 3. Llama Guard 3 is now the recommended model for AI agents. Read about Llama Guard here.

OpenAI have just released their latest model GPT-4o-mini. We're excited about the updated model and are already using it for AI Agents on Moderation API.

All existing AI Agents have been upgraded to GPT-40-mini automatically.

As a result you should see:

  • Higher accuracy and better performing AI agents.
  • Faster response times when using AI agents.

Wish to use another model for your agent?

In addition to adding GPT-4o, we've made some updates behind the scenes. Some larger models like GPT-4o still outperforms GPT-4o-mini (at the expense of cost and speed). It is now possible to request to use a specific model, such as GPT-40, for your AI agent. You can message us if you wish to use a larger model - just note it might require changes to your pricing plan.
